As he passed through a fish market, he saw a shallow pan of crabs outside a shopkeeper's store.

Conrad went inside and warned the shopkeeper he better get a deeper pan or the crabs would get away. The shopkeeper told him not to worry about it, explaining that whenever one crab tried to crawl out, the others would always drag it back into the pan.

Although any crab could easily have gotten out of the pan by itself, none ever did. Conrad thought that pretty much summed up his life.

From his viewpoint, he had been brought up on the wrong side of the tracks. Every time he tried to change, someone would try and pull him back saying something like, "Who do you think you are?" or "We liked the old you better."

You too, will face such crabs. Every time you risk, there will be someone trying to prevent you from changing. Many times, it is from those who care about you the most. It's not that they don't love you. It's that they are afraid of losing you by being left behind.

You will be faced with the decision of allowing yourself to be pulled back in the pan or continuing to crawl out.

Obviously, I support you on continuing to change and crawling out. The good news to that option is that, usually, you pull a few crabs out of the pan with you.

Take 15 minutes right now and take an inventory of the people you hang out with. Are they pulling you back into the status quo or encouraging you to take risks and move forward?

It doesn't mean you have to cut them out of your life, but you may want to move certain people from your inner circle to a more outer circle of influence in your life and spend less time with them.

Everyone has support groups, but we need to ask ourselves what they are supporting us in doing. Sometimes we have friends supporting us in drinking a lot or being lazy or in listening to negative talk.

TAKEAWAY!
There are people, places, and things that pull us back from our growth to keep us comfortable. Others don't want you to change, not because they don't love you, but because they are afraid for you or for themselves.

Action Step #1

Pick one person who is a friend you spend a large amount of time with that does not support you in changing.
Pick someone who lives at a higher level than you in terms of relationships, financially, spiritually, or the difference they make in the community.

Consciously reduce the time you spend with the former and increase the time you spend with the latter. It's just like breaking a habit. It's easier to replace a habit with another, better one, than to simply try to get rid of a bad one.

Action Step #2

Look around you in your professional life. Do you have people that are stuck in the old way of doing things? Look at your spiritual life. Do you have people that do not support your growth, because it scares them or threatens their power in the bureaucracy of the organization?

Do you have friends who don't want you to leave for better opportunities? Find a group or form a mastermind that will support you in your growth regardless of the consequences to them.

An Example

My wife had a friend from her early adulthood who always overspent her personal budget. Whenever they went out together, she would encourage my wife to buy things.

Roma, my wife, would get home and look at the things she bought that she really didn't want or need and feel bad.

Whenever my wife would try and bring the subject up to her friend, the other woman would get very defensive.

This friend had been a convenient friend because she was single and when I was traveling on business trips it was more awkward for my wife to mix with couples when she was alone.

Finally, my wife decided that she had to reduce the amount of time she spent with this other woman. It was uncomfortable for my wife to make new friends, but that is what she did so that she didn't have the negative pull any longer.

I experienced a similar thing in my business as we grew. In the early days, everyone had plenty of my attention, because we were few in number. As we grew larger I had to delegate and couldn't be everywhere.

Some of my leaders didn't want us to grow simply so they could have all of my attention.

We discussed the situation so they were clear that less of my time did not mean I didn't care for them as much.

This reduced some of their fear and some of them changed because they were committed to our growth, and some ended up leaving.
I kept focused on the growth.

"Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds"
--Albert Einstein
via: Brian Klemmer http://www.klemmer.com/

To Push or Not to Push?

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 126px; height: 84px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_er1spGX9UUg/S7IX40GGaiI/AAAAAAAAAEU/YUgxp7VKkeM/s320/manpushingrock.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5454448363523435042" />
That is the Question......

--Leaders push themselves when they are winning and take the pressure off when things are not going right

Years ago, my mentor took me to the horse races at Del Mar Raceway in California. He said that this was an awareness test and asked me to watch the first race and tell him what I saw. I told him I saw a bunch of four legged animals running around in circles. Wrong answer.

He instructed me to watch the second race and tell him what I saw. I told him I saw a bunch of foolish people in the stands throwing their money away betting. "Not the answer I am looking for," he replied.

This went on for three more races. Finally he said, "In the next race, watch which horses they are whipping."

In the next race I saw that only the horses in the front half of the pack were whipped. He told me to remember that.

Most people have it backwards. When you are doing well, that's when you want to whip yourself to go faster. But most people, if they do well, reward themselves by taking the afternoon or week off.

In the military there is an interesting principle where you reinforce when you are winning. If you break through an enemy's position, that is when you send in reserves to deepen the penetration of your force.

When you are doing poorly, like the horses coming in last, don't whip yourself. Take the afternoon off. That's when most people whip themselves to work harder--when they aren't doing so well.

They have it backwards.

When you are not doing well, take time off, get your head straight and then tackle the business at hand or whatever the project is. Most people have it backwards and whip themselves at the wrong time.

TAKEAWAY!
When you are doing well, push yourself harder. When you are doing poorly, take time off to get your attitude straight.

Action Step #1

Take a moment to think of where in your life you are pushing yourself hard and getting little return. Are you working even more hours at work and making little or no more money?

Are you spending more time in a relationship but it is not getting more intimate or exciting? Are you praying exhaustively and not getting more intimate with God?

Now, find a way to take a break so that when you go back to that activity it is with a different viewpoint.

Action Step #2

Take a moment to identify where you have momentum in your success. How can you push yourself even more in that area?

An Example

When my mentor took me to the horse races, I was a marketing director for his seminars in San Diego, California. I had had tremendous success building the attendance up from nine people in a seminar when I got there to 70 people! Then things started to slide.

I pressed myself harder to try and turn it around. The marketing plan involved many volunteers.
As I pressed myself harder I became less fun or inspirational to be around so fewer volunteers helped. So, I pressed myself even harder and fewer volunteers came around.

The downward spiral had sunk to where we had only 32 people in a class. That was when my mentor stepped in to correct the belief systems that were running my behavior.

He had me take a week off in Mexico, and when I came back I was totally refreshed and the class size started to increase--even though there was one week less to build the seminar, because of my vacation.

"Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation. It is better to be alone than in bad company"
--George Wahington

By: Brian Klemmer

Why Do We Commit Against Ourselves?

People frequently seek coaching because they're stuck. For some, the need is confidence-building, for others it's behavior change or skill development. But sometimes, no matter how hard a person tries, their progress remains inexplicably stalled. The situation can be as frustrating to bosses, colleagues, and family members as it is to the individual.

Organizational psychologists Robert Kegan and Lisa Laskow Lahey developed the theory of a "competing commitment" to explain what they term "personal immunity to change."1 The idea is that when people engage in behavior that thwarts their ability to achieve an outcome they genuinely want, the cause could be deeply held internal beliefs that act in opposition to the conscious desire. When these beliefs are uncovered, change is possible.

What follows is an adapted version of Kegan and Lahey's process for identifying a competing commitment: Begin by naming something that you are committed to doing, having or achieving. Next, ask yourself what you are currently doing or not doing that prevents the change from happening. Third, reflect on what your action or inaction is suggesting that you might be more committed to (this is the competing commitment). Finally, identify the assumption that supports the competing commitment.

Here are two examples of how coaching clients worked with this technique.

Sharon had been unhappy in her line of work for several years. Although she knew she wanted a career in textile design, her efforts to change fields always stalled after two of three weeks of half-hearted activity. She had also recently interviewed for two jobs in her current field (which she didn't like), and was planning to start a lengthy and expensive program to identify career interests (which she already knew).

When Sharon tried the competing commitment exercise, her answers looked like this: I am committed to working as a textile designer ...Instead of looking into what training is required, I'm applying for jobs that I know in my heart I don't want ... My bigger commitment is to my current job, where I am comfortable ... My assumption is that even if I train for design, I am not creative enough and no one will hire me.

Meantime, David had talked for over a year about finding a partner in order to expand his business and take some of the pressure of "doing everything" off himself. However, despite identifying several highly qualified candidates who he felt enthusiastic about working with, negotiations always broke down at the eleventh hour, usually over insignificant details.

David identified his competing commitment as follows: I am committed to finding the right business partner ... I refuse to concede on small requests, and blow the deal at the last minute ... My bigger commitment is to staying independent ... I assume that having a partner means I'll be answering to a boss, and won't be able to call the shots.

It can take time to identify a competing commitment and its underlying assumption, so if you try this exercise don't pressure yourself to answer all of the questions at once. After completing this process, the real work comes in changing deeply rooted assumptions, which also requires persistence and frequently the assistance of a coach or mentor.

The first step in challenging an assumption is to start noticing the times when you react based on a particular belief about yourself, other people, or situations. Then you can look at the ways in which your assumption is preventing you from getting the results you really want. See if you can figure out how it originated - people can spend their lives in obedience to false assumptions that started in childhood. Begin gathering "evidence to the contrary" that demonstrates how your assumption is not always true.

Then, design a "pilot program" to begin testing new ways of thinking or behaving. Choose no- or low-risk activities, like shadowing someone who's successful with the job or skill you want, volunteering, informational interviewing, or taking a class or two. The key is to take action and do something different. The very act of taking a step toward a meaningful goal sends a powerful message to the subconscious that you've made a commitment to achieving your goal. In my practice I've seen it happen time and time again that people who commit to action seem to magically attract the people and situations that they need to move forward.

1 "The Real Reason People Won't Change," by Robert Kegan and Lisa Laskow Lahey, HRB Onpoint, © 2001 Harvard Business School Publishing Corp.

#1 Heartbreak In Being a GURU

I'm dead serious about the word "heartbreak." I LOVE what I do but there is a dark side.

The dark side is:

I can tell people *what* to do and show them exactly *how* to do it, but if their sense of self-worth or their belief system gets in the way, they will *always* find a way to screw it up.

Always.

They procrastinate.
They skip one vital step.
The money comes in the front door and immediately exits through the back door.
They sleep through a golden opportunity.
Or somehow or another they simply cannot get themselves to DO it.

This is heartbreaking. Because the truth is, in just 9-18 months I can provide you with a functional set of marketing skills that put you in the top 10% of all marketers.

But if your mind and emotions aren't ready to succeed, you'll still hold yourself back.

And this is compounded even more by another heartbreaking problem:

Some people have ZERO resistance to success. None whatsoever. They have granted themselves permission to succeed *regardless* of what it does to other people. They will say anything, do anything, execute anyone or destroy anything necessary to become King Of The Hill.

There's a word for these people:

"Psychopath."

Psychopaths are people whose car has an
accelerator but no brakes.

Unfortunately, there is a percentage of successful people who are literally psycho. They give us normal people even more reason to hesitate.

We normal people think: "What if I succeed and then become a psychopath? I think I'd rather stay broke than be like HIM!!!"

Even though I don't talk about belief systems a huge amount, I think they're hugely important.

For this reason I'd like to direct you to highlights of a 2-hour interview Jack Born and Bryan Todd did with PJ Eby. PJ is a mindhacker extraordinaire and I love his "engineering way" of slicing through mental cobwebs:

As quoted by Perry Marshall

Skye Rocks The Camp! The man noticed that Satan had more seeds of discouragement than any other kind, and he learned that those seeds were hardy and fruitful and could be made to grow almost anywhere. But when Satan was questioned, he reluctantly admitted that there was one place in which he could not get them to grow. “Where is that?” asked the man. Satan replied, “In the heart of a thankful man.”

When we choose a thankful attitude, our spirits resist the cynicism, discouragement, and pessimism that weigh life down. We’re better able to thrive and survive no matter what life throws at us. And our love for God blooms.

God, I pray for a thankful heart. Please nurture in me a spirit of gratitude. Amen.

As shared with me from my good friend Karen Obryan from her tips on the power to choose electricty in texas

Random Acts...

How To Optimize Your Financial Future...

Residual Income....Is It Important?

What the experts are saying about residual income, time freedom and financial security. Web Crawlers'/>

6 Ways To Boost SEO...

Search engine optimization (SEO) will help your site rank highly in popular search engine results.

Search engine optimization is the act of optimizing a website (in terms of code, content and links) to increase traffic from major search engines, like Google, Yahoo! and Bing.

What Do Search Engines Look For?
Search engines index content on the web with computer programs called "bots," which move through websites by "crawling" from link to link. In order to provide the most useful search results, search engines assess pages in terms of:

Relevance: The relevance of content on a site depends on how closely it matches a search query. A site's content is considered more relevant when the queried terms appear in the title or headings of the content and HTML tags.

Popularity: A website's importance is measured by the number of times other sites link back to it. These are called backlinks, and when they come from a highly respected site, like the New York Times, for example, they carry more weight.

Six Ways to Boost SEO
There are lots of ways to improve how high your site ranks on major search engines, and we've highlighted six to get you started:

1) Add Unique Content to Your Site
Brainstorm keywords that your audience might use to find you. Anytime you add content to your site — blog posts, product descriptions, an "About Us" section, etc. — it should be rich with those keywords. Unique, quality content also gives other sites reasons to link to you, and building backlinks is part of the popularity factor search engines pay attention to.

2) Place Keywords in Key Places
Those same keywords should appear in your page titles, headings and subheadings (in terms of content and code). However, that doesn't mean you should cram them anywhere you can. Use them where they're relevant, and if they aren't relevant in certain places, replace them with words that are.

3) Create a Sitemap
Sitemaps can improve SEO by displaying links to pages on your site that search engine bots might miss otherwise. Structure your site's pages from broad to specific, and try to keep them no more than three clicks from the homepage. Google Webmaster Tools, available via your control panel, explains how to create sitemaps and submit them to Google.

4) Add Links with Strong Anchor Text
When linking to relevant sites, tell your readers where you're sending them. The anchor text (the wording displayed in a hyperlink) should closely match the URL you are pointing to.

5) Submit Your Site to Search Engines
Included FREE with your Ipower hosting plan, SubmitNet's SEO tools allow you to submit your website to popular search engines. Wealth'/>

Goal Setting...

There are many great motivational speakers who have nuggets that you can incorporate into not only your business, but your day-to-day life as well. Mark McClure has some interesting points that I have compiled, that we all need to look at if we are to be successful in business.

Goal Setting - How many of us have our goals written down? If not, do so now. Set a 3 month goal.....this could be an enrollment goal of new customers or a monetary goal. Set a 12 month financial goal....how much do you want to earn in the next 12 months? Don't give up on accountability. This is your WHY? Have a purpose. Have a plan.

Prospecting - How would you rate yourself on this? Are you out there talking to people about this business everyday? Do you set aside specific times to talk with people, whether its on the phone or while you're at networking meetings, or just going about your day?

Engage - Meet and Greet. Are you asking the right questions of others? Start the meeting with mindset to close the prospect. Find common ground. People work with people they like. You have about 3-15 seconds to create a good first impression. Identify your similar interests. Have a sense of humor....no one cares if you're having a bad day. Be positive.

Qualifying - Do they have what it takes to be a Distributor with your company, or the commitment to be a customer on an auto ship? Identify the prospects goals.

Presentation - How do you rate on giving a presentation of this company? The most successful business people don't necessarily know the most about the product or the details of the company, but it's usually the person with the best attitude and the most raw enthusiasm. Be childlike in your enthusiasm with others. Take them through different emotional states - fear, excitement, urgency. Emotion builds momentum. Create the urgency to listen, join.

Handle Objections - Put people on my train of thought. Don't get sucked into why they can't do this. Derail them. Be in control of the conversation. Here's what I can bring to the table for you... Use tie down lines...."does that make sense?, do you see how that works?" Get more than one way to close and overcome objections. Be flexible.

You should learn at least 7 different ways to overcome an objection. Not two. Go along the lines of "what's the worst thing that could happen if you tried these products? -or- "what's the best thing that could happen if you tried these products? Don't let them go home and think about it.

Close - The top 20% of us have 5 answers to objections, 70% of us have only 2 answers to objections, and the top 10% have 22 ways to handle objections. Where do you want to be? Take a portion of your time to study different sales and marketing training techniques. It will benefit your business in the long run.

P.M.A. - Positive Mental Attitude.... develop good thought patterns. Being a good prospector/presenter/closer takes time. Learn how to do it. Spend time learning. Practice, practice, practice. Focus on who you are becoming as you learn. Think outside the box. Stretch yourself outside your comfort zone. You will see that you will become a much more interesting person and a better person.

Commitment - What is your commitment to creating financial independence? Sometimes we have a bigger commitment to our family members than ourselves. Use that. Whatever it takes. BE COMMITTED. Have the attitude of "I'm doing this cause I don't have anywhere else to go!" Failure is NOT an option. I will succeed no matter what. I will not quit...I will reach my goals no matter what.

Look over these categories. What are your two weakest areas? If your two weakest areas were your best areas.... 1. Would you achieve your three month goal? 2. Would you achieve your twelve month goal?

What one ACTION will you take today to ensure that you hit your goal (or improve your weakest areas)?

Did you know that salesmen are the 3rd highest paid people out there behind entertainers and athletes? It's work, but it's worth it.

Never let what you can't do get in the way of what you can. You can see what Karen Obryan accomplished in just a few short days with her Universal Sponsoring System

Energy Fixers...

See nine things that zap your vitality and how to get it back
It's 3 p.m.--do you know where your energy's gone? You probably expect to feel that late-afternoon drag, but you don't always have to. Turns out, some of your regular habits may be sneakily zapping your zip. Fix some or all of these energy stealers, and you just may be feeling brighter this afternoon.

Energy Zapper #1: Being Addicted to E-mail
Isn't being wired to the hilt--e-mail, voice mail, IM, BlackBerry--supposed to boost productivity, freeing up your energy? More often, the opposite is true. If you continually halt what you're doing to answer e-mail, check voice mail, and attend to a thousand other beeps and blips, your attention becomes diluted, which leaves you feeling depleted.

There are two things going on here, says John Salerno, MD, a New York City family physician and director of the Salerno Center for Complementary Medicine. "The brain needs a lot of physical and mental energy to multitask, which gets drained," he says. And continually redirecting your attention from the BlackBerry to other stimuli siphons more energy and distracts your brain further.

Energy Fix
Switch off electronic gadgets during your most productive work hours, which for most people tend to be in the morning, says Laura Stack, author of The Exhaustion Cure. As for e-mail, try to limit yourself to checking it once every hour, instead of hopping to whenever it beeps. (Hint: Turn off the beep sound.) If something pops into your mind that you need to remember--call back your mom, e-mail the soccer coach about the snack schedule--write it down and take care of it later.

Energy Zapper #2: Visual Clutter
We may be used to living in enclosed spaces with lots of stuff--a refrigerator door packed with artwork, a countertop laden with mail, a desk that's little more than a shifting pile of folders and paper--but it's not how we're meant to live, says Dr. Salerno. "Clutter signals disorder, which makes us anxious. Our brains sense that anxiety."

Energy Fix
Do your best to clear visual clutter, so when you look around, your eyes can "rest" rather than dart from mess to mess, says Janice Ash, organization expert and owner of I Declutter!. Instead of layering papers on a bulletin board, leave a small border of space around them. Clear the front of the fridge of all but the most current kids' artwork, and make a habit of leaving the kitchen counter stuff-free before bed each night.

Energy Zapper #3: Being Bored
Ever sat around for an hour or more not tackling a chore or work because it's just so darned monotonous? Mental foot-dragging, boredom and lack of motivation are draining, says Dr. Salerno. "Put simply, we like to see results, and getting things done gives us a mental energy boost." So avoiding tasks deprives you of that high.

Energy Fix
Find a partner for encouragement--a friend, a coworker--and call or e-mail to enlist her in a time challenge. "Say, ‘I'll check back in with you in an hour, and we'll see if we've gotten these reports/ organizing chores done.'" Or promise yourself motivational rewards for completing the task at hand, suggests Dr. Salerno.

Energy Zapper #4: Poor Posture
You already know that not sitting or standing straight is bad for your body. But all that hunching over a computer screen or cradling a phone on your shoulder wreaks havoc on your energy level, too, says Pia Martin, a San Diego health and wellness chiropractor. "When you sit for long periods, you tend to slump forward, leading to rounded shoulders and a tilted lower spine. Your muscles contract, and blood flow is impaired," which limits the amount of oxygen to your brain.

Energy Fix
Sit up straight! Your legs should be at right angles to the floor, your arms at right angles to your keyboard. Be conscious of keeping your shoulders down, not up near your ears. Adjust your computer screen so your eyes gaze at the middle of it. And don't just sit there--if you have to, set a timer to go off hourly to remind you to get up, stretch and get a drink of water. When you get back to your desk, do a quick posture check: Shoulders down! (Reboot your posture with these tips.)

Energy Zapper #5: Toxic Indoor Air
Humming copy machines. Cleaning products. Dry-cleaning chemicals. Synthetic carpeting. Even the desks in your office may be contributing to the load of toxins you breathe each day, because all of them release chemicals into the air. "No one knows for sure how much harm these cause to our bodies, but they do build up over time, and can drain your energy by potentially interfering with thyroid function and overloading the body's detox system," says Frank Lipman, MD, a New York City physician and author of Spent: End Exhaustion and Feel Great Again. (Reduce your exposure to chemical toxins.)

Energy Fix
Get outside. If you're feeling tired, go out for 10 minutes to breathe fresh air. Indoors, cultivate houseplants, which are remarkably good at absorbing toxins. And don't wear shoes inside the house--you're dragging not just dirt indoors on your soles, but pesticides and other harmful chemicals too.

Energy Zapper #6: Eating Too Much at Once
Consuming a big meal is always something that will cause a dip in energy later, but that effect is most noticeable in the afternoon because the slump happens at that reach-for-coffee-or-sugar hour: 3 p.m. Here's what happens: You fill up on a carb- and calorie-rich lunch and, as nutrients are absorbed by your body, excess glucose is dumped into your bloodstream, and your body releases insulin to process all that sugar. "A better idea is to spread out what and how you eat throughout the day to keep energy levels steady," says Gloria Tsang, RD, founder of the nutrition website HealthCastle.com.

Energy Fix
Eat every four hours, instead of the usual six. To reform lunch, "try to brownbag more often than eating out," says Tsang. It's a fact that if you buy takeout or dine in a restaurant, you're likely to eat more. Four hours after lunch, have a snack. If you're going to eat dinner a couple of hours later, keep the snack small, such as half a turkey sandwich, or a yogurt and some crackers. Other ideas: Drink liquids (water, tea) all day. "Dehydration makes you tired, too," says Tsang. If you usually have coffee right after lunch, try it a little later in the afternoon and make it a latte. The caffeine's an obvious pick-me-up, but the little bit of fat and protein in the milk gives you a snack-like boost. (Increase your energy with a smarter lunch.)

Energy Zapper #7: Living in Artificial Light
Our natural body rhythms are keyed to the rising and setting of the sun, says Carol Ash, DO, medical director of Sleep for Life, a sleep-disorder clinic in Somerset, New Jersey. When you open your eyes in the morning and get your first glimpse of sunlight, your brain receives a signal that helps it set its sleep-wake clock for the day. Similarly, seeing sunlight during the day gives your brain a boost. So if you are awake before the sun, and/or don't see much sun all day, your body is experiencing something a lot like jet lag.

Energy Fix
Instead of hitting the coffee cart when you're flagging, hit the sidewalk--the combination of physical exercise and a shot of sunlight will energize you. You don't need much: "A 10- to 20-minute walk in the sunshine will give you a boost," says Dr. Ash.

Energy Zapper #8: Listening to Negative Nellies
You may be upbeat, but it can be exhausting to listen to complainers all day long, whether it's the fellow mom who calls to trash-talk the neighbors or the coworker who never has a positive word to say. It's not your imagination: A 2006 study at Chicago's Northwestern University found that people forced to listen to "high-maintenance" colleagues became frustrated and unfocused, and suffered a decline in the quality of their work.

Energy Fix
Insulate yourself as best you can. If a coworker loves to enumerate her complaints, cut her off with a firm but polite "I really have to get this finished," then smile and get to work. She'll get the message. If it's your own negative thoughts that drag you down, train yourself to banish them by listing, daily, the things you're grateful for, so you can pull out that list when the negative stuff intrudes.

Energy Zapper #9: Holding a Grudge
It takes a surprising amount of energy to remember whom you have a grudge against, and to continually update the faults, missteps and things you're mad about. "Resentment is a huge drain physically as well as mentally," says Dr. Lipman. "Anger, resentment, grudges--all of these emotions are toxic, and we hang on to them in our bodies especially in tense, tired muscles."

Energy Fix
It takes practice, but try to forgive old mistakes. An easy way to start is to simply be aware of the times negative thoughts about others creep into your mind, says Dr. Lipman. After spending years trying to climb the corporate ladder my legs got tired and my hands grew weak. Bloodied up and confused, I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.

I had enough....

So, I went for the American dream and started my own business. Man that was like a sleg hammer to the melon! WHAM!

What was I thinking? Have you ever said that to yourself? Of course you have, I can see the hands go up.

When failure is not an option you really find out who you really are in the world and what means the most to you.. The company is now a successful Importing Company which has taught me more than enough to be a leader.

During the past several years ....

What I really did is went to work on myself to increase my skills and value in the market place. I attended Personal Leadership Development course by Brian Klemmer and became a "Passionate Samurai." I discovered the art of intention! You see, if the "intention is clear the mechanism will appear". No mater what! How do I know?

It's simple....

If your intention is to make just enough money to pay the bills. The result will be just enough money to pay the bills. Amazing how that happens, huh?

Today, I feel I am considered one of the industry’s top authorities in Internet Marketing industry thanks to G.P.T. strategies and New School Marketing campaigns taught be me and others on the net. These strategies build fast and profitable teams with a system that work not because of who I am but because of who I became.

I am so gracious for what God has been given me and I live like there is no tomorrow. You can change if you are serious about accumulating wealth and financial freedom.

1 – Failure to recognize and clearly define exactly what you want.

2 – Procrastination usually backed up by a formidable array of excuses.

3 – Lack of interest in acquiring specialized knowledge.

4 – Indecision. The habit of passing the buck on all occasions, instead of facing issues squarely.

5 – The habit of relying upon alibis instead of creating definite plans for the solution of problems.

6 – Self satisfaction.

7 – Indifference. Usually reflected in one’s willingness to compromise in all occasions, rather that meet opposition and fight it.

8 – The habit of blaming others for one’s mistakes and accepting unfavorable circumstances as unavoidable.

9 – Weakness of desire due to neglect of motives that impel action. (Not having a strong “Reason Why”)

10 – Willingness, even eagerness to quit at the first sign of defeat, based upon basic fears.

11 – Lack of organized plans placed in writing where they may be organized.

12 – The habit of neglecting to move on ideas or to grasp opportunity when it presents itself.

13 – Wishing instead of willing.

14 – The habit of compromising with poverty instead of aiming at riches. General absence of ambition to be, to do and to own.

15 – Searching for all of the short cuts to riches. Trying to get without giving a fair equivalent.

16 – Fear of criticism of what others will think, do or say

Dont Bring A Knife To Gun Fight

Here are the best links I could find on the net to help you build any business.

If your trying to market without any one of them....just turn out the lights and go home.

Its and all out war on the net.
